Robinson Wins Station Sessions competition!
Oct 15th 2011
As part of our ongoing efforts to find the best emerging artists in music, the Station Sessions ran a competition to give up and coming bands the chance to get a slot on stage at St Pancras and show the thousands of people walking past what they got!
The winner, by a pretty big margin of 140 voters, was Andy Robinson.

This young man has a pretty interesting story and a very enchanting sound.
A multi instrumentalist who plays guitar, piano, clarinet or sax, and claims the likes of Dylan and Waits along with the darker gothic sounds of Eastern Europe as his influences, Robinson is somewhat of an intrigue indeed.
Robinson considers the challenge writhen history of his great Grandfather to be an inspiration, and with what is quite a touching story he asks, “will I echo the life of my great grandfather or is there something much better waiting around the corner?” Well, hopefully after the Station Sessions the answer will be something amazing!
