SS Band Daytona Lights join the Hollyoaks cast!

At Station Sessions part of our mantra is to support and provide a platform for new and emerging music. What makes us really happy is when an act we’ve had faith in, goes on to do something special. Daytona lights are the perfect example of this sort of band. They impressed the socks off us during their session which you can see a clip of on our youtube (link below), and have no gone on to make headlines by doing something almost unheard of.
What we didn’t know at the time is that each of the members of the band is in fact a trained actor.

So its just fitting that the band are all taking on roles in the teen soap Hollyoaks which has close to 1.5million views per episode. They will play characters true to their own real life personalities, and will eventually form a band as part within the show. We think this is an interesting and novel way of promoting new music and breaking a band.
