Youth Music Voices and the Cultural Olympiad
Jul 18th 2011
Around 80 talented young vocalists will come together for the first time to perform on Friday 29th July at 6.30pm under the giant Olympic Rings at St Pancras International for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
The event will showcase Youth Music Voices’ talent and their ‘work in progress’ with almost exactly one year to go until the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Youth Music Voices will be contributing a number of performances on behalf of the Cultural Olympiad as part of the London 2012 Festival.
This under-21 vocal ensemble, with a broad cultural mix, will be performing a specially commissioned repertoire of new songs, and producing a vibrant and exciting soundscape throughout the Cultural Olympiad.
